About the Moon sculptural chair
Moon is carved from sandstone with a tall, gently curved backrest that wraps around you. The curve is soft, like a crescent, but the stone still feels solid and strong. It is one of our most compact chairs, just 630 mm wide, and sits comfortably in rooms where space matters.
Moon: stone and finish
Moon is made from white sandstone, a light stone with a soft, wood-like grain. It is polished by hand with the natural texture of the stone kept, so the backrest feels smooth against the back while the stone still looks natural. Every block has its own grain, so every Moon is a little different. A soft cloth is enough for cleaning.
Where the Moon works
Moon suits a reading corner, a bedroom, a small lounge or a dining room as a pair. The tall backrest gives a sense of enclosure without a wall, which works well beside a window or a bookshelf. Tell us if it will sit outside and we will recommend the right treatment.
Sizes, ordering and delivery of the Moon
Moon is made to order. Size and stone can be changed on request, including other stones such as marble. We ship worldwide with careful crating and insurance. Installation is arranged locally by you or your contractor, with video or phone guidance from our team. Ask for the current lead time when you enquire.
