About the Mehrab outdoor bench
Mehrab's backrest rises in soft steps to a rounded arch, inspired by classic stone archways. The name refers to the arched niche, and the shape gives a simple bench the feeling of a doorway you can sit in front of. It stands 1120 mm high, so the arch rises well above the seat.
Mehrab: stone and finish
Mehrab is carved from white sandstone, a light stone with a soft, natural grain. It is polished by hand with the natural texture of the stone kept, so each step of the arch stays clear and the seat is smooth. A soft cloth keeps it clean.
Where the Mehrab works
Mehrab works beautifully in gardens, landscaped courtyards, terraces and poolside spaces, as well as resorts, hotels, luxury lounges and architectural outdoor environments. The tall arch makes it a good focal point at the end of a path or against a plain wall.
