Balanced White Sandstone Sculptural Chair
A chair that looks like it's floating.
Balanced has a deep, comfortable seat set on crossed sandstone legs. Carved into a singular expression of stone. It's perfect for a porch or terrace.
About the Balanced sculptural chair
Balanced looks as if it is floating. It has a deep, comfortable seat set on crossed legs, all carved from sandstone into a single expression of stone. The crossed legs give a light, open base, so the heavy seat seems to hover above the floor.
Balanced: stone and finish
Balanced is made from white sandstone, a light stone with a soft, natural grain. It is polished by hand with the natural texture kept, so the seat is smooth to sit on and the legs still show the stone's character. Sandstone changes slightly from block to block, which gives each chair its own pattern. Cleaning is simple: a soft cloth.
Where the Balanced works
Balanced is a good choice for a porch or a terrace, where its crossed legs read clearly against the sky or a garden. It also suits a sunroom or a living room that needs one strong seat. Because many of our stones are sealed and finished for outdoor use, we can prepare it for the weather you have.
