About the Wavey outdoor bench
Wavey is built from four wavy stone slabs stacked on top of each other, all cut to the same curved shape. From the side, it looks like waves frozen in place. It is the longest piece we make, at 2410 mm, so it reads as architecture as much as furniture.
Wavey: stone and finish
Each slab is granite, dense and hard-wearing, with a speckled surface. The slabs are finished by hand with the natural texture of the stone kept, so the repeated curve stays crisp and the stone still looks natural. Granite is one of the hardest natural stones, which suits a piece that is meant to stay outdoors. A soft cloth keeps it clean.
Where the Wavey works
Wavey suits a large garden, a terrace, a lobby or a public courtyard, where its length can be used as a long seat or a boundary. At about 1500 kg it is the heaviest piece in the collection, so it is placed once, on a prepared base, and left there.
Sizes, ordering and delivery of the Wavey
Wavey is made to order, and its size can be discussed. We can also make it in another stone on request. We ship worldwide, with careful crating and insurance. Because of its weight, installation needs planning with you or your contractor, and our team can guide the process by video or phone. Ask for the lead time.
